Disneyland Resort Grad Nite Rocks the Class of 2008

ANAHEIM, Calif. (Spring 2008) – Graduates nationwide will gather to celebrate the end of their high school years at Disneyland Resort’s Grad Nite, presented by Honda. From 11:30 p.m. until the break of dawn at 6 a.m., Disneyland is their after-dark thrill park packed with high energy, hot attractions and memories to last a lifetime.  This year, Carlsbad High School will participate in Disneyland’s Grad Nite the evening that our seniors graduate, Thursday, June 12th, 2008.

The Class of 2008 is thrown into an exclusive experience where Disneyland does a complete 180 degree turn from its daily park environment. The night rocks with a unique brand of Disney entertainment, dance clubs and deejays from Southern California's most popular radio stations.  From Tomorrowland to Adventureland, grads can rock out to Top 40 hits from 102.7 KIIS FM, the Latin grooves of 107.1 Super Estrella and the best in Hip Hop from Power 106.
With Disneyland park all to themselves, grads can have one last all-night bash with their high school friends while they enjoy exclusive, unlimited access to world-class theme park attractions.  Adventure and thrills include conquering the Indiana Jones Adventure, speeding down the slopes on the Matterhorn Bobsleds, racing through Space Mountain and posing for photos with some of their favorite Disney Characters along Main Street, U.S.A.  The impressive "Grad Nite Explosion!,” a pyrotechnic show complete with lasers and lights, rocks two times nightly to the beat of the best tunes of 2008, created specially for Disneyland Grad Nite.
Grads can check out the complete party details, dress code and other important information at www.disneylandgradnite.com. The Web site features videos, downloadable computer screensavers, wallpapers and all the event details, both in English and Spanish.  More information on how you can purchase Grad Nite tickets is available at www.chsgradknight.org where you can download the forms that need to be filled out and returned with your $85.00 payment (until March 31st) or you can pick up the forms at the Carlsbad High School office.  If you have any questions about Grad Knight you can contact Co-Chairperson Anne Wicks at seabreeze2705@adelphia.net  (760-729-8705) or Jennifer Loper at jenniferloper@gmail.com (760-268-1984).
There are already over 450 students signed up from CHS to attend Disneyland’s Grad Nite…so only a limited number of tickets remain.  Reserve your spot as soon as possible, because tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis and the ticket price increases as we get closer to the date.  Don’t miss out on the opportunity to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime event!

Note:  If you have already signed up to participate and sent in your payment, please contact Mari Erickson (Grad Knight Registration Chairperson) via email at
mpemari@roadrunner.com to confirm that all of your paperwork is in order…quite a few people are missing signatures, etc., and she can let you know if there is any information that we still need to receive from you.  Thank you!

Chaperones
Okay Chaperones, just because Grad Nite is a celebration for graduating seniors doesn't mean you can't have fun, too. As a special thanks for all you do to keep Grad Nite a safe and fun event, we've got some special perks just for you. Keep your energy level up with a complimentary dinner or breakfast, plus snacks and other refreshments at Chaperone Headquarters.  You can also catch a movie, or relax with a complimentary chair massage in the Chaperone Lounge. And of course, you can always join the action in the Park.

Please note: To ensure the safety of our Grad Nite Guests, it will be necessary to search all persons and their belongings before entering the park.  Any item is subject to search and may be disallowed upon security discretion. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

To speed up the entrance process, all Chaperones will be required to enter with the students.
